To work with the BEST in the industry, you have to train with the BEST in the industry! Academy of Advanced Hair Design specialises is Apprentices and Apprenticeship training and boasts the HIGHEST industry standards and COMPLETION rates to match.

In addition to the high industry standards, all students will be exposed to the BEST in Hairdressing facilities and resources and upon completion of their apprenticeship not only will they have trade level qualification Certificate III in Hairdressing but they will have had exposure to the latest and greatest training techniques the industry has on offer. 

How do I enroll an apprentice?

The enrollment and commencement of training for apprentices is straight forward and continuous. At the Academy we offer rolling starts (any time, year round) for apprentices, to accommodate the needs of salons and apprentices alike. Follow these five (5) simple steps and you will be on your way to enrolling your apprentice.

  1. CONTACT THE ACADEMY TO ARRANGE A MEETING TIME
  2. MEET WITH THE ACADEMY & YOUR APPRENTICE (OPTIONAL) TO DISCUSS YOUR NEEDS 
  3. CONFIRM APPRENTICESHIP DETAILS WITH AAC (Australian Apprenticeships Center)
  4. SIGN ALL NECESSARY PAPERWORK
  5. COMMENCE TRAINING

What level will I complete at?

The trade level qualification you will receive upon completion of your apprenticeship will be Certificate III in Hairdressing.  To do so you are required to complete twenty-nine (29) units of competency both ON-THE-JOB and OFF-THE-JOB.  This is monitored progressively through your training record book and your training plan.

What delivery methods do you use?

The Academy can accommodate both day release and block release deliveries.  Working in conjunction with salon and industry needs, you will be able to choose a delivery mode that suits you and your apprentice.

Regional salons now have the same opportunity as their city peers with a program that allows them to achieve all this and more and with 24/7 support from the Academy no matter how remote.
